RealLife Concepts brings director Willemijn Jumelet as a member of the board of Stichting Experience Inclusie.
UFF African Agri Investments approached RealLife Concepts to provide them with a positioning strategy fitting the next step in their life cycle.
RealLife Concepts applied Happening.consulting to identify the necessary steps to take to make this possible for them, starting with a DNA scan workshop. The conclusion was that in order to bring the business to a next level, a strategy is needed that aligns marketing and sales.
This strategy would be carried through by creating and managing alignment, commitment and sharing of UFF's ambitions throughout the entire team, internally and externally. It was time to create a UFF story that the whole team supports and carries out, especially while working closely with Old Mutual.
From consulting, coordination to activation; RealLife Concepts supported UFF throughout this entire process with rebranding, marketing and communication strategy and positioning.
House of the Future was the biggest economic trade mission from the Netherlands to Africa with 80 companies and 100 people accompanying Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte, taking place in November 2015. Focus of the programme was in Johannesburg, but to ensure impact in Cape Town we developed a program called Garden of the Future that focused on the agri topsector. We secured the venue within our network. RealLife Concepts took care of many aspects, including writing parts of the Prime Minister's speech.
The Kingdom of the Netherlands Embassy in South Africa contacted Reallife Concepts to assist with the vision development for this expansive event. The embassy knew they had to do something different, new and exciting that would stand out from a typical trade mission and would showcase modern diplomacy. They had a name and an idea but now they needed some guidance to develop a vision and concept.
We then crafted a strategy for the embassy that would best showcase these overriding themes while keeping the spirit of CoCreateSA alive.
RLC started with interviewing all the involved parties using the 4x4 scan from happening.consulting and then pinpointed common themes and ideas, namely education and entrepreneurship would be the glue that held the mission, top sectors and the two countries together.
The embassy was able to successfully plan the event with a clear focus, with RealLife Concepts guarding and guiding the activations that stemmed from the vision development.
In 2015, the V&A Waterfront celebrated its first quarter of a century and turned their focus to the next 25 years. V&A Waterfront draws 2,6 million visitors each year and is Africa's busiest attraction where tourists and locals spend time and money. The Executive for Development requested RealLife Concepts to assist with the development of their vision for 2040.
RLC met and spoke with all the participating architects who currently have projects in development at the V&A. Urban planners, infrastructure specialists and members of the Waterfront team were involved too. Alignment and trust were achieved.
Through these discussions we were able to put together a story as well as an extensive 3D map for the V&A to present to their stakeholders and use to embark on the next steps.
